Filip Salac wygrał bowiem czasówkę w Portimao w klasie Moto2 i do wyścigu o GP Portugalii przystąpi ustawiając motocykl w pierwszym rzędzie wraz z Aronem Canetem i Pedro Acostą. Dla Salaca to pierwsze pole position w Moto2, ale drugie w ogóle.
